Character Template

Please follow all of these points while filling out the template from the coded section below. Failure to do so will most likely get your app ignored or denied. Feel free to change around the content of the app to suit your design preferences so long as all of the required information is still present!

Basic Information
Name, Gender, and Nickname/Alias are all self explanatory. The last is optional and can be left blank. Species refers to the Pokemon your character is, Legendaries will NEVER be available as characters. Relation can be listing family, friends, and significant others, as well as any other character that has an impact on your own. If they are a character that has a filled out application, we ask that you hyperlink to that character for reference. If you're unsure of a trade to choose, you can write 'undecided' or review them here.

Physical Attributes
The appearance area can either be a picture, at least 3 sentence description, or a combination of both. Try and make your character unique, though just using a plain picture of the Pokemon will still get you accepted. If you choose a reference picture that isn't official art, remember to make sure that you have permission to use the image! Note that different colored or shiny characters are limited to one per user. No exceptions. Small changes, such as a different colored eye or a streak of lighter fur aren't counted as a color change/shiny. If your character has any sort of trait that defines them physically, such as a limp or a scar, that's what you'll put under 'Defining Characteristic'. If your character is different colored, meaning that they aren't the regular or shiny colors but something new, you MUST explain how that came to be either here or in the History section.

Personality
The personality section must be at least 10 sentences. Strengths and Weaknesses must have at least three points for each and at least one sentence explaining each one. This is to prevent perfect or Mary Sue characters. If your character has a small habit, such as an involuntary twitch after they say 'Steven', or something of the like, list it under Quirks. If not, just leave it blank.

Background
The History must be at least 10 sentences. This shouldn't be a major effort, since you should include their trade, homeland, ect. into it. If you say your character is a soldier, then explain how and why they are. I don't want to see an app that mentions them as a solder and only talks about their adventures as a traveling baker. If you're having trouble filling the length requirement, look back through the app. Delve into how their personality developed, or how their relations came about. It shouldn't be a difficult requirement to fill. Below it, the Defining Moments should just list briefly the greatest impact moments mentioned in the history. This is meant to be a short list and summary of what went on in the history.

Items
Feel free to lay out the items section differently than the app to suit your own organization better. The 5 Oran Berries are the only allowed start item, as well as any of the Clothing/Accessories your character has listed in the Appearance section. The clothing/accessories will NOT heed any stat bonuses. Even if it's a suit of armor, it won't boost defense.

You may notice the Equipment section, it is where any stat-boosting or battle items will be kept. At the start, you can pick between any of these three items:

Wooden Sword +2 to Attack
Wooden Shield +2 to Defense
Leather Boots +2 to Speed

Note that these can either be physical items or simple boosts to the stats of your character. If your character is a Seviper, you can still pick the boots and equip them for the benefit, they don't have to be physically described on your character. Weather they are or aren't is up to you.

Stats
Your character must start out in the level range of 1-15. This site allows an unlimited moveset, meaning that your character may know all moves they can at their current level. They may not, however, start with a TM, HM, egg, or tutor move. When filling out stats, pay heed to the stat system.
